“Ishqbaaz” is a kickass Indian soap, and right now it is the best thing on air with it’s gorgeous sets, talented cast, beautiful cinematography, hilarious dialogues and intriguing storyline. Creators have decided to develop a spin off while “Ishqbaaz” is still on air—a first for Indian television.
Now essentially their spin-off basically is another half hour of the same story but focuses on the love story of Omkara Singh Oberoi and (later) Rudra Singh Oberoi. There is nothing fresh except Omakara’s life is finally moving forward, which I totally love. It’s not actually a SPINOFF, they could have just made “Ishqbaaz” episodes 1-hour long, they’re just screwing with people’s minds with the term ‘spinoff’ so they can cash in on it by making it seem like it’s something new.
However, I’m not complaining, I’m totally loving “Dil Bole Oberoi.” It’s only been a few days but I’m already hooked and Kunal JaiSingh who plays Omkara is freaking BRILLIANT. He’s done this whole 180 turn going from emotional artist to cold, ruthless businessman.
Shrenu is lovely as Gauri Kumari Sharma, this fiesty character similar to Anika’s.
I’m hyped about this and I’m hoping the writers don’t screw shit up and start messing up storylines like in other shows. Gul Khan is behind both shows, as well as the recent hit “Qubool Hai.” “Qubool Hai” was amazeballs when it began as well but slowly it fell downhill with rebirths (umm…they were supposed to be Muslim on the show, Muslims don’t believe in rebirth -_-) and later Vampires.
Let’s not go down that same path with “Ishqbaaz” and “Dil Bole Oberoi” please?
Alright guys its saturday already and the big day is getting closer we do need your love and support just as the way you have been giving us in ishqbaaaz, do keep loving us for india's first ever spin off #dilboleyoberoi #omkarasinghoberoi #gaurikumarisharma #gaurika watch us monday to saturday 10:30pm right after ishqbaaaz only on @starplus
If you run out of ideas, end the show and start a new one. There is no need to keep dragging a dead body, just bury it and move on.
Sorry that was a weird analogy, no?
